Hello dear friend today I am going to discuss history hands written notes class 7th in detail knowledge.

#1.  Indian Subcontinent.

The historians have divided history into three periods ancient, medieval and modern. The word medieval means the middle age. It is the period which lies between the ancient and the modern period of history. The word medieval is derived from a Latin word meaning middle. 

It is considered that this period began from the eight century AD and lasted to the eighteenth AD.

The medieval period is further divided into two parts the Early Medieval period (from 8th to 12th century AD) and the late Medieval Period (from 13th to 18th century AD).

 The Early medieval period covers states of North as well as South India.  The Late Medieval Penod covers the Delhi Sultanate, the Bahmani and Vijaynagar kingdoms, and the most important of them all, the Mughal empire. 

The rise and fall of the Marathas and the Sikhs are also included in the late medieval period.The invasion of Muslims led to the development of composite culture. During this period, a number of Muslim invaders attacked India Indian culture and beliefs were greatly influenced by the Turks, Afghans and the Mughals. 

During this period, Islam spread rapidly in India. This period was the age of the Bhakti and Sufi movements which spread the message of devotion to God.
